Basic Report on a Tourism Business
For a restaurant, lodging facility, attraction, or retail store. The purpose is to determine how close to optimum a business is for local search. This is particularly recommended if your business is not coming up in Google Local Search in the way that you believe it should given your particular restaurant.

The report includes:
1. Determining the search terms the business should focus on.
2. Determining rankings of the business for the most likely combinations of the search terms in Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
3. A search for the business in 20 of the major Internet Yellow Page directories, and a report for whether the business is listed and any errors in name/address/phone number/website.
4. A search for the business in the 3 major feeder directories that distribute data to thousands of Internet sites.
5. For restaurants, a search for the business in 15 major restaurant directories. [froghot, manta, merchantcircle?] tripadvisor.
6. An analysis of reviews, including particularly those likely to be used in search engine rankings.
7. A report will be produced that indicates the number of entries found in each directory, errors/inconsistencies found, an overall Optimization Score (0 to 100), and an analysis of the major reasons why Google/Yahoo/Bing ranks are less than optimum, and recommendations for what steps to take to improve rankings when appropriate.

Startup Directory Entry for a New Business
For a restaurant, lodging facility, attraction, or retail store that has just started up with a new name.
The purpose is to enter the new business information into major directories, and also to look for other businesses that may be confused with the new business (such as a previous tenant in the same space) and take steps to request a deletion. This is preferably done after a web site has been created.
This service includes the following:
1. Entering the business and its website address into the 3 major feeder directories that distribute data to thousands of Internet sites.
2. Entering the business in 20 of the major Internet Yellow Page directories, and a report for and checking for entry and errors/inconsistencies in the Internet Yellow Page directories that the businesses basic telephone service should have created.
3. For restaurants, entry of the business in 15 major restaurant directories. [froghot, manta, merchantcircle?] tripadvisor.
4. A report will be produced that lists the directories that the business has been entered in. An email account will be created and the account name and password provided to show the verification emails that result when the business entry was created.
Cost: $80.
(We recommend that a new business use this service, wait three months, then get a Basic Report).
Entry of New Website
For a restaurant that has created a new website and wants to propagate the address around the Internet.
This service involves:
1. Entry of website address into 8 major restaurant guides.
2. Entry of website address into 3 major feeder directories and 12 Internet Yellow Pages that accept website information.
Cost: $30.
Fix Major Problems in Databases
This is for a business that faces major problems with databases due to inconsistencies in name, addresss, and/or phone number information.
This service involves:
Search for entries in 25 Internet Yellow Pages, 3 major feeder directories, and 5 major restaurant directories, and will contract the directories and request a correction. Note this this will work in the majority of cases, but in the case of some directories they will not make corrections unless you subscribe to one of their "Premium" advertising services. (We regard this as a form of extortion.).
